Decompression Therapy

Spinal decompression is a type of traction therapy applied to the spine using state of the art equipment to create a negative intradiscal pressure to promote retraction or prepositioning of the herniated or bulging disc material.  It creates a lower pressure in the disc that will cause an influx of healing nutrients and other substances into the disc.

It also temporarily increases the size of the intervertebal foramina reducing potential impingement of exiting nerves.  This therapy has shown to be very effective with conditions involving the disc and radicular pain.
